Setting up a VPN connection (PPTP) - Windows XP

Microsoft has ceased security support for the Windows XP operating system in May 2014. This means that Windows XP PCs will no longer be safe to use.

Please contact your 1A partner to obtain a more recent operating system or a new PC.
This manual is for older systems and/or software and is no longer maintained.

This manual is meant for 1A-server users. It explains how to set up a VPN connection to your 1A-server. This connection will enable you access your files safely from any location, by connecting to your server over the internet.

To create a connection you will first need to configure the connection and the security. Then you can connect to the server to exchange files.
