This manual is meant for 1A-server users. It explains how to use 1A-telephony without a physical phone by using the software Zoiper.

Starting the Zoiper installation
  • Open the downloaded file, for example "Zoiper_3.6_Setup.exe"
  • Click Yes if a security warning pops up

  • Click Next >
  • Choose I accept the agreement
  • Click Next >
  • If so desired, uncheck Start Zoiper with Windows
  • Click Next >
  • Click Next >
  • Click Next >
  • Click Next >
  • Click Next >
  • Uncheck Launch Zoiper
  • Click Finish

  • Press the Windows key
  • Type zoiper
  • Press the Enter key

First start - Windows Firewall popup
  • Check all networks
  • Click Allow access

  • Click Start the test
  • Complete the tests
  • Click OK

  • Choose SIP
  • Click NEXT
  • Enter the correct information:
    user / user@host → <phonenumber>@<IP-address-server>
    Password → <phone-password>
    Domain / Outbound proxy → <IP-address-server>
  • Click NEXT
    Acount name should now be <phonenumber>@<IP-address-server>
  • Click NEXT
  • Click Close

  • Click Settings
  • Choose Preferences
  • Go to tab Advanced
  • Change Use default STUN to Don't use STUN
  • Go to tab General
  • Click Unregister
  • Click Register
  • Click OK

  • Click CALL
